 ART SHOW and Auction 2012
 The 2012 Santee School District Foundation Art Show and Auction was a great success and a fun family event. More people than ever before sought out the opportunity to view and purchase wonderful student art projects. The show displayed many different mediums of art, including clay, mosaic, paintings, jewelry, quilts, and woodworking. Besides being a wonderful family evening, the Art Show and Auction raised over $4,000 for the Foundation, which will return that back to the schools by supporting the Arts Attack curriculum in the schools. |

 STUFF THE TURKEY Fundraiser
 Stuff the Turkey was a big success this first year. Beginning in November, each school’s Turkey started to fill up with “spare” change, gaining new feathers for every 5 pounds of coins. Students and families sent in their pocket change to “Stuff their Turkey.” Several thousand pounds of coins were collected. Thank you to all of the students and their families for their contributions. |

EDUCATION Mini Grants
 On October 24, 2011, eleven mini grants were awarded to schools in Santee School District. Each school submitted an application and shared with the Foundation their request for financial resources for a special project or program at their school.
